European Roulette Gold
Play European Roulette Gold at Ladbrokes Online CasinoEuropean Roulette Gold is the most popular online roulette due to its realistic graphics and some special betting features. As with all online roulette the aim is to guess where the spinning ball will stop on the roulette wheel and place your bet on the corresponding number on the roulette table. Once all bets are placed, a small ball is released on to the spinning roulette wheel, in the opposite direction to the spin. The ball stops in one of the numbered pockets of the roulette wheel.
If you are a first time player you should be made aware that this version of roulette differs to the American Version. The European version has a single zero on the wheel whereas the American version has both a zero and a double zero. This slight difference gives you better odds when betting on a black or red number.
This version of roulette allows you to place a bet on the wheel whilst the ball is in motion.
- To take advantage of this feature you will need to click on the “Cog” button.
- You will then be presented with the options screen.
- Click on the arrow button next to Timer duration (in seconds): This will allow you to set the amount of time you would like the wheel to spin whilst you place your bets.
- A bet timer will appear in the top right hand corner of your screen, counting down towards “No more bets”.

In order to take advantage of the autoplay feature you will need to enter Expert mode.

Once you place a chip on the table the autoplay feature will become available.

Once you have decided your Autoplay setting, select start to begin spinning. If you change your mind at any point you are able to press stop and cut your autoplay session short.
Neighbour bets are bets placed on the neighbouring numbers of a Straight Up number on the Roulette table. Neighbour bets are allocated as the numbers appear on the Roulette wheel and not as they appear on the Roulette table.
This version of roulette has two ways to place a neighbour bet.
|
By clicking any number on this table it will add chips to the 5 numbers that neighbour your selected number either side of the wheel. For example let’s say we choose number 5. On the roulette wheel to the left of 5 are 10, 23, 8, 30,11 and to the right of 5 are 24, 16, 33, 1, 20. By clicking the number 5 on this particular table your chips are automatically placed on the relevant numbers. This table also offers 3 Call bet betting options Les Orphelins (The Orphans):- 1 Chip is placed on number 1. 1 Chip is split between 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34. Tiers Du Cylindre (Third of the wheel):- 1 Chip is placed on the following splits 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36. Les Voisins Du Zero (The neighbours of Zero):- 2 Chips are placed on the 0,2,3 trio and the 25,26,28,29 corner. 1 chip is placed on the following splits 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35. |
An alternative way to place neighbour bets is to save them with the Edit layout feature. In order to access this feature you will need to click the button shown in the image below.

|
This button will then expand opening up new options. You will then have to click the edit layout button. |
What separates this neighbour table from the other is that you are not limited to 5 neighbour bets either side. On this board you can select between 1 & 8 neighbours yourself.

Once you have made your selections you can click the save layout button and then click the back to table button. You can save up to 8 of your favourite betting combinations.
|
|
Now that your chip combinations are saved you are only one click away from setting your table.
In the image below you can see that 5 layouts are saved (Highlighted in green) and a single click on any number will automatically place the chips on the table.

In order to access the comprehensive statistic section you will need to click the percentage button. This will allow you to see a percentage for every outside bet the ball has landed on and a percentage for every winning inside bet.

The Statistic section will prove popular to those who like to keep note of previous spins.

The call bets option is a brilliant addition to roulette especially for those struggling to decide what numbers to bet on next. By clicking on the button shown below you will be able to access the call bets option. You will then be presented with a list of pre-set chip placement options. By clicking on one of the options it will automatically place chips onto the table.

By clicking on the Call Bets button you will be presented with various chip placement options.
